Autodesk's app helps take the guesswork out of what new furniture, lighting, rugs, paintings, and mirrors will look like — just about anything you can bring to your living space can be checked on the tablet screen. It's easy to use: first, you snap a shot of your room and add it into the app's 3D modeler. Then, you begin to place items in that model from the app's extensive inventory of options.
